AzfiBooks ownership

AzfiBooks owns or licenses its software, source code, modules, documentation, design system, original workflows, product names, configuration, and compiled releases.

Customer data ownership

Customers retain ownership of their business records, accounting data, uploaded documents, invoices, bills, reports, and workspace content.

Contributor assignment

Any employee, contractor, developer, designer, writer, or consultant contributing to AzfiBooks should sign written IP assignment and confidentiality terms before contributing.

Third-party components

Open-source and third-party packages must be recorded in a dependency/license register and used only under compatible license terms.

No competitor copying

AzfiBooks must not use copied competitor source code, screenshots, icons, manuals, marketing copy, sample files, database schemas, or confusingly similar branding.

User uploaded content

Users represent that they have the right to upload and process documents in the workspace. Uploading a document does not transfer ownership to AzfiBooks.

Review note: This policy should be supported by real records: developer agreements, source history, third-party license inventory, original design files, and release notes.
